Goals are the things we wish to achieve. It is important to set them, but they should be set high. If we set easy goals our energy levels drop as soon as we achieve them and it is hard to progress any further. We should have realistic goals and 'barrier breaking' goals. It is a mistake to become too satisfied after deciding you have already reached your goal. To be effective goals should be concrete,measurable and personal. We should have goals not just for end results but also for the manner in which we attain them. Goals should be pursued with joy and freedom, not fear, to ensure they are a boost rather than a blow to self confidence.
